Nuheat Floor Heating offers 120 standard size “Pre-built” square & rectangular floor heat mats come ready to fit your room and will keep almost any flooring at a warm and comfortable temperature that YOU set on the thermostat control. All Nuheat mats are less than 1/8” thin and are available in 120v or 240v (aka 110v or 220v), and you can install 150 Sq Ft of 120v mats per control, or 300 Sq Ft of 240v. Warm tiles can be yours overnight with the Nuheat under floor heating system.

When full coverage cannot be achieved with Nuheat Standard Electric Floor Heating mats (i.e. rooms with angles or curved walls). Nuheat is the only manufacturer of Radiant Floor Heating Systems to give you this Custom Heat Mat option to provide the ultimate in coverage and installation ease, in either 120 or 240 V. Is it a complicated process to install Nuheat Mats?

No, Nuheat mats can be installed directly between the tile and subfloor and require the same bonding materials that are being used to lay your tile floor – no extra supplies are needed! Once your subfloor is prepared, spread a layer of thinset and install the Nuheat mat, apply another layer of thinset on top of Nuheat, lay your tile as usual and make the final connection to the Nuheat control. Nuheat has a 25 year warranty for your peace of mind.

Can you use Nuheat mats with laminated floors and engineered wood?

Yes, you can use laminate floors & engineered wood with Nuheat mats! For laminate or floating wood floors, prepare the sub-floor and spread a thin layer of thin set to secure the mat to the sub floor and install the Nuheat mat. Then cover the Nuheat mat with a 1/4″ minimum of mortar or self-leveling cement. Now you are ready to follow manufacturer’s guidelines to install your laminate or engineered wood flooring. Glue-Down Wood floors are also compatible with Nuheat – see the installation manual for complete details. The Harmony or 82F Mat Comfort thermostat will limit your floor temperature to 82 degrees F, safely below the recommended maximum temperature of most flooring manufacturers.

Nuheat Programmable Thermostats are full featured, and are available for Tile or special models for Laminate or Wood floors.Nuheat in floor heating mats are powered by the broadest selection of thermostats of any under floor heating manufacturer.
